We determined Sağancıı village of Bergama district of Izmir as a pilot village and initiated a project to develop the village people with olive oil production. Bergama region is one of the most ideal places for this project with its geographical and climatic structure that allows the cultivation of the world’s best quality olives.

The olives grown by the villager will be bought without intermediaries, the highest quality olive oil will be produced and sold at the sales office to be established in the village, and the profit obtained from the sales price will be shared with the villager.

The sales office to be established will be transformed into a touristic attraction center, an environment where the people of the village can sell their natural products (jam,vegetable, fruit, etc.) and handicraft works. The village will be brought to tourism, as in examples such as Şirince and Sığacık.

Thanks to this project, it is aimed to stop the migration from the village to the city, and the young people in the village to market their products above the market price.
